Washington, D.C. - CNN has obtained footage of Congressman Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pulling a fire alarm inside the Cannon House Office Building. The incident occurred on Saturday morning, shortly before the House was scheduled to meet in a closed session.

According to the House Administration Committee, Bowman allegedly pulled the alarm in the building's basement. In a statement to CNN, Bowman said he acted to alert members of Congress to a potential security threat.

The incident is currently under investigation.
